Google’s biggest film ever, “Gravity,” has been shrouded in secrecy, but now that the film has been released, we know a little more about what’s in store.
While the plot remains a mystery, we now know that a new trilogy will begin with a sequel titled “The Force Awakens,” which hits theaters on December 18, 2019.
The title of the new film is also a reference to the title of Disney’s next movie, “The Last Jedi.”
“Golf Course” star Jason Statham, who is playing a character named “Captain Boomerang,” recently tweeted that “we are going to see a lot more of Captain Boomerangs from this movie.”
The actor added that he’s going to “do a lot of the same things that we did in ‘Gondor'” for the sequel.
“Gondors” is the name of the first game in the “Star Wars” universe, “Return of the Jedi,” which was released in 1977.
“The Return of the Skywalker” trilogy has already grossed more than $2 billion worldwide.
Star Wars: “The Phantom Menace” and “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” both grossed $2.2 billion.
“Rogue one” is also coming to theaters on Dec. 18, 2018, but the first installment of the Star Wars saga, “Star of the Resistance,” won’t be in theaters until March 2019.
